- Materials included in this unit consist of assessment reports compiled to execute construction work at government expenses for restoring rivers, erosion control, coasts, roads, and bridges damaged by natural disasters. "Disaster Restoration Work Assessment Prospectuses" submitted by prefectural governments were examined, and assessed amounts vis-à-vis amounts applied for are written in red. There are regular assessments and urgent assessments, and each volume has the classification "regular assessment" or "urgent assessment" printed on its title page. Some reports are accompanied by materials on weather conditions at the time of disaster occurrence.
