- Ryukyu Kingdom Courts Records were produced by the courts, which were the highest organization in the Shuri administration of Ryukyu Kingdom from 1623 to 1879. It was transferred to the Ministry of the Interior. The Ministry Catalog contains 2,074 items, which were mostly burnt out by the Great Kanto Earthquake. However, 197 items still remain as the Records of "Ryukyu Kingdom High Courts" held at the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Law, Legal Historical Records Library. In 1986 the National Police Agency discovered the Court records containing 21 items. The Archives hold those records.
