- The Environmental Dispute Coordination Commission was established to be an administrative commission as an external bureau of the Prime Minister's Office on July 1972 by consolidating the Land Coordination Commission and the Central Environmental Dispute Council. Due to the restructuring in central ministries and agencies in January 2001, it was established as an external bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
