These photos show a cotton mill of silk thread, winery and brewery submitted by Kaitakushi (Hokkaido Development Office) to Grand Council of State in November, 1876. Administered by Products Bureau of Sapporo Main Office, the Cotton mill of silk thread was built in July, 1875, and the winery and brewery, in September, 1876. "Kobun Fuzoku no Zu"(Picutures and charts affiliated with Kobun Roku)containing these photographs were designated as National Important Cultural Properties of Japan in the 10th year of Heisei (1998) together with "Kobunroku"(Compiled Records of the Grand Council of Statee)
