Honchouzokumonzui 11

Honcho Zoku Monzui is an anthology, originally compiled in around the 12th century, of over 230 Chinese poems written by more than 40 poets such as Fujiwara Atsumitsu (1064-1144), Ooe Masafusa (1041-1111) and Fujiwara Akihira (?-1066). This copy, made in the Kamakura period, is the oldest existing manuscript in complete form. Total of 13 volumes. They were transferred to the private collection of Tokugawa Ieyasu in the 7th year of Keicho (1602), kept in the Momijiyama Bunko library after his death and designated as National Important Cultural Property of Japan in the 30th year of Showa (1955).
