Renewal of “National Archives of Japan Digital Archive” and “Japan Center for Asian Historical Records (JACAR)”

National Archives of Japan Digital Archive and Japan Center for Asian Historical Records (JACAR) will undergo a system transition on Monday, March 23, 2026. Please note that this update will not affect service availability.

We invite you to continue using these two digital archives, which play a vital role in “Archives: Evidence from the Past, Beacon for the Future”.
