- Following the transfer plan of at 2010, these records were transferred from the Supreme Court of Japan.The Judicial Administrative Records, have been transferred from the Supreme Court of Japan since 2010, following the transfer plan of 2009. As the agreement named "Regarding Necessary Measures for Appropriate Preservation of the Historical Public Records and Archives"made as of August 5, 2009, by and between the Prime Minister and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court defines,the following records are transferred to the National Archives of Japan upon expiration of their retention period:1) Judicial documents such as judgment document etc. that are important as historical materials (e.g. the originals of judgment documents of civil cases, and records of civil cases preserved pursuant to Article 9, paragraph 2 of "Jiken Kirokutou Hozon Kitei (Rules for Preservation of Case Records)"and 2) Judicial Administrative Records pertaining to important matters for the operation of courts such as. important policies pertaining to judicial administrations necessary to trace past major activities of in the courts.
