- On November 1, 1947, based on the provision stated in Article 2 Paragraph 1 of Supplementary Provision of the National Public Service Law (1947 Law No.120), the Temporary Personnel Commission was set up in the Prime Minister's Office. On December 3, 1948, an amendment was added to the National Public Service Law (1948 Law 222) and the Temporary Personnel Commission under the jurisdiction of the Prime Minister was reorganized to the National Personnel Authority which was to be placed under the jurisdiction of the Cabinet.

- Materials are organized so that official records transferred by 2000 (related to Descriptions of Occupational Duties and Approval of Employment in Profit-Oriented Enterprises) are separated from those transferred after 2001.
