- Records pertaining to state funerals and quasi-state funerals of 23 prominent figures, including Toshimichi Okubo, Tomomi Iwakura, Hisamitsu Shimazu, Sanetomi Sanjo, as complied by figure. Of the 23 funerals, 10 were held in the Meiji period, 8 in the Taisho period, and 5 in the Showa period. Records of state funerals held in 1946 or later include only those of the state funeral of the former Prime Minister Shigeru Yoshida (both original and duplicate).
